Rain Zone ("we", "our", or "the app") is a sports companion application that provides live match updates, team and player statistics, and sports quiz features. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information.

Rain Zone does not require account registration, does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only using Android SharedPreferences:

Onboarding completion status To skip the intro screens on subsequent launches
Fan Points To track your quiz score progress
Quiz streak To track consecutive correct answers
Favourite teams and players To personalise your experience
Notifications preference To respect your notification setting

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

4. Internet Access

The app requests the INTERNET permission solely to load images (team logos, player photos, onboarding screens) from external URLs. No personal data is transmitted during this process. The requests are standard HTTP image loads with no user-identifying headers or tracking parameters.

5. Third-Party Services

Rain Zone does not integrate:

Analytics services (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
Advertising networks (e.g. AdMob)
Crash reporting services
Social login or social SDKs

6. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any data from users of any age, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal information is collected at all, the app is safe to use for all ages.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data (fan points, favourites, etc.) is retained until you:

Uninstall the application, or
Clear the app data via your device's Settings → Apps → Rain Zone → Clear Data

8. Security

Since all data remains on your device and no personal information is collected or transmitted to external servers, there are no server-side data security risks associated with using Rain Zone.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
